Eitan A. Tadmor (born 1954) is a Distinguished University Professor of Mathematics at the University of Maryland, College Park, where he directs the Center for Scientific Computation and Mathematical Modeling.〔(Eitan Tadmor ) at the University of Maryland, retrieved 2015-01-14.〕 His research concerns scientific computing, numerical analysis, and partial differential equations.〔.〕 Tadmor earned his doctorate from Tel Aviv University in 1978, under the supervision of Saul Abarbanel.
